Way back in January we wrote about the opening of the 2Weeks 2Make It music video competition organised by South Yorkshire Filmmakers Network. Filmmakers and musicians apply separately and are then randomly paired up. At which point they have two weeks to make and submit a completed music video.
This year 20 musical acts and 20 filmmakers made 20 videos and you can see them all on the SYFN Youtube channel here, but of course there can only be one winner. Well actually there were two winners and here they are…
Grand prize for the year went to Scott Ballard and Sighthound Films for ‘Conscript Me’
The Audience award, as voted for on the day of screening, went to Coil and Just One Week Productions for ‘(I’m gonna be) Your Guardian Angel’.
Well done to everyone involved – a great set of videos and songs form some very talented locals.
