Sheffield Photographic Society

1. Winner of the Sweetman Monochrome Trophy and the Society Trophy for Best Print in the Exhibition Rain Man by Ben Hull

The Sheffield Photographic Society turned 150 years young last year and is one of the oldest in the world and with such a proud heritage we’re certain their annual exhibition will be well worth a visit. Opening at Sheffield Cathedral on Monday 20th April at noon and running until Sunday 26th April, there’s plenty of time for you to have a gander.

Members of the Society will be on hand during lunchtime each day from 12.00 – 2.00 pm and all day Saturday and Sunday to answer any queries and chat about photography so any budding snappers should take full advantage.

With over 170 images on display in a variety of styles it will certainly be a visual feast. The featured image in this preview is the winner of the Sweetman Monochrome Trophy and the Society Trophy for Best Print in the Exhibition and titled ‘Rain Man’ by Ben Hull. There’s plenty more where that came from.
