BenZ: Magic Enterprises

Experiencing BenZ and his Magic Enterprises is at first a strange combination of feelings. Firstly, is this a riddle that I am to solve – Cripes! I’m not very good at riddles… Secondly, is that a steam punk inspired leather waistcoat you’re wearing and why do I feel like I’m the one wearing the odd clothes? Thirdly, that uniquely thick French accent coursing over your actions, lends a strangely magical authenticity to your performance. All I can say is this must be the real deal to provoke such a convoluted spout of British modesty and self consciousness.

BenZ is a magician of a calibre I’ve not encountered before. Tricks aside, he does not ask you if you want to sit on his knee. He will not ask you, if you got it at the end. For a real magician, knows that you didn’t and that you, the audience, secretly desire to know ‘How the hell did he do that?’
He won’t tell you.

If you’ve never before experienced the awe of a close-up sleeveless magician before, it is something to behold. To be able to stand right next to him, follow each hand movement only inches from your eyes and still be utterly dumbfounded is a unique and perplexing thrill.

From watching BenZ at the latest Now Then Birthday event at the Forum I was able to see how easily he interacted with all sorts of punters, from the slightly too merry to the lairy pissed lot, right through to the shy and wary clever, catch you out, crew, BenZ was able to engage them all in his fluid movements, his descriptions of the trick and of course the illusion itself, which left every audience I witnessed in a state of awe and disbelief.

BenZ is available for hire for almost any event which you might require him for. From weddings, to corporate do’s, to live events and parties that you just want an added element. BenZ can bring his easily adaptable set to you and is always keen to try his tricks in new environs.

We could wax lyrical about grace, style, and quick hands, but I wouldn’t do him justice. So we’ve included a couple of video links for you to see for yourselves.
